To do so, you first have to know the XpertEye version installed on our glasses. To know how to get the version number, click on this article.
You can generate two types of QR code
QR setting code
With this code, you can configurate :
- the interface language
- the date and time
- a Wifi network
Each element, language, date & time and wireless network, can be configured independently. All the fields are not mandatory for generating a QR code.

- Configure a Wifi network on your Essential RealWear glasses
If you don't have this information, please contact your IT department. |
Note : You can't connect to an hidden Wifi network if it's not WPA / WPA2 PSK.
- Generate a QR-CODE
Once you have entered the information you want to configure, click on "CREATE QR-CODE".
The associated QR-code will appear. You can scan it from your Essential RealWear glasses.
From this screen, you can :

- Scan the QR-CODE from your RealWear glasses

3 | Scan the generated QR code |
Your glasse are now connected to internet. You can now create your XpertEye authentication QR code
Authentication QR code
To generate an authentication QR code, go to the XpertEye authentication section and click on "Create QR-CODE".
All the fields: username, password and region must be filled.
- Enter your connexion identifiers

- Configure the region you want to use
If you are using version 4.3 or lower | If you are using version 5.0 or higher |
If the other participants and yourself are on different area, we recommend you to use the region of the glasses wearer area. All the participants have to be on the same region for starting a call or conference.

This setting is not available for user who have chosen an infrastructure located on AMERICAS or CHINA. |
- Generate a QR-CODE
