How to be authentified on XpertEye solution?

To do so, you first have to know the XpertEye version installed on our glasses. To know how to get the version number, click on this article.

You can generate two types of QR code

• QR setting code
• QR authentication code

QR setting code

With this code, you can configurate : 

- the interface language

- the date and time 

- a Wifi network

   Each element, language, date & time and wireless network, can be configured independently. All the fields are not mandatory for generating a QR code. 

• Configure the interface language of Essential RealWear glasses

Click on "Language" You can : either automatically configure the language from your navigator language by clicking on "DETECT AUTOMATICALLY" or configure it manually

• Configure the date and time of Essential RealWear glasses

Click on Date & Time Concerning the date, you can : either configure it automatically by clicking on "DETECT AUTOMATICALLY" or configure it manually Concerning the time, you can :  either select Europe/Paris timezone or not configure the hour

• Configure a Wifi network on your Essential RealWear glasses

Click on "Wireless Network" Enter your access point name Select your security type. You can choose between : WEP WPA / WPA2 PSK IEEE 802.1X EAP If you don't have this information, please contact your IT department.

• Generate a QR-CODE

Once you have entered the information you want to configure, click on "CREATE QR-CODE". 

The associated QR-code will appear. You can scan it from your Essential RealWear glasses. 

From this screen, you can :  Print your QR-CODE by clicking on "PRINT" Extend your QR-CODE by clicking on "EXTEND

• Scan the QR-CODE from your RealWear glasses

1		Say "My programs"
2		Say "Configuration"
3		Scan the generated QR code

Your glasse are now connected to internet. You can now create your XpertEye authentication QR code

To generate an authentication QR code, go to the XpertEye authentication section and click on "Create QR-CODE".

All the fields: username, password and region must be filled.

• Enter your connexion identifiers

• Configure the region you want to use

If you are using version 4.3 or lower	If you are using version 5.0 or higher
Click on "Select a region..." Select the region of your choice : EMEA, USA or APAC If the other participants and yourself are on different area, we recommend you to use the region of the glasses wearer area. All the participants have to be on the same region for starting a call or conference.	The region GLOBAL is set by default.  To change it, click GLOBAL to display the other regions. This setting is not available for user who have chosen an infrastructure located on AMERICAS or CHINA.

• Generate a QR-CODE

Once you have entered the information you want to configure, click on "CREATE QR-CODE". 

The associated QR-code will appear. You can scan it from your Essential RealWear glasses.

• Scan the QR-CODE from your RealWear glasses
